.. that Mopar made a 4 barrel carb intake for the LA V6 motor.

Suggestion: If we find something out neat or unique, let's post it into this thread so it keeps burbling up to the top.

Hey Ralph,
Back when direct connection sold that manifold, they offered an electronic ignition to go with it. You could buy the dist. only or a kit. that had the harness ecu dist. etc. The part numbers were P4529402 & P4529401. If that had still been available, I would have tried one on my truck.
BTW I think this post is a good idea!!

That's ancient news, I've had several over the years. On another note I'm looking for an aftermarket (Offy or Clifford brand) 4 barrel intake for the slant 6 truck I just got. 85 D150.

I'm sure it is.

As I mentioned, Today !I! learned, not Today it was invented or Today it was manufactured.

TILs are mostly for things that are either fairly common knowledge or happened sometime in the past (like the original shape of the Dodge Brothers logo was patterned after the Star of David to **** Henry Ford off, stuff like that.)

Hee!

The Dodge Brothers were ... a bit different back in the day.

They started off building stuff for Henry Ford.

See https://www.allpar.com/corporate/bio...-brothers.html for a quick bio of the brothers.

The 1980's Diplomat police cars had a 360 4 bbl stock. I even had a factory 4 barrel intake for my '54 Dodge with the 241 Hemi.

And neither is the V6 in the Dakota.

Which that is a 4 barrel intake for.

I went and fixed my note; I forgot to specify V6.
