Default Dads 1991 Dakota SE LB/RC V8 4X4

These photos were taken a couple weeks ago. Still looks and runs like it did when he bought it new. Sort of rare as this was the 1st year of the 318, the front clip is unique to this year, and you never see a regular cab long bed from this year. I love the thing.

What makes that front clip unique? According to the sales literature, sealed beams were available through 1995 (and are listed in the parts list for 1996).

The parts are listed 91-93 for both sealed beam and Aero; it's just that the Aero design was not common for 1991, but became a very common option for 1992 and later. (1991 Aeros got a different part number for the headlights; but the 92+ fit just fine. And this one isn't an Aero, but the sealed beams.)

(Think "3.9 V6"; for my 1988, the 2.5 was base, but was in only 5% of the production - the 3.9 was an option, but was the most common motor.)

That is a really clean truck! How many miles? Also, is the interior still in good shape?

Yeah it is. I’ll post a few shot of the interior. I have a shot of the dash and Maroni that I’ll include. I think it has 185 k or so. The only thing he has done to it outside of original, is he had the bed Line-x’d in matching blue.

You are probably right, I had just heard it from a dakota club member, and had not seen many that looked like that.

Gorgeous truck!

I've been on the hunt for a RCLB V8 4x4 Manual for ages... they just don't exist. The same combo in auto isn't any more common! This is a rare truck, great color combo too. Take care of it!

Wow awesome, I’m also blown away on how good condition the paint is!...was it garage kept?, never seen one without some sort of paint pealing unless it’s been repainted.
