Default 1993 Dodge Dakota display light not working.

I’m just asking for some help new to working on trucks I’m No certified mechanic but I can usually get the job done.

my issue is just the dash display lights are not working, everything else is headlight low and high, turn signals, break lights, everything but the dash lights

what’s the issue here any help is appreciated!

Dimmer switch? I don't recall if they are on their own separate fuse or not.....

Would that be the same as the light switch? I don’t see anything but a headlight switch, and that includes the overdrive off button.

Yeah, part of the headlight switch.

The headlight switch is the dimmer also. If you rotate it to the right and left it dims/brightens the dash lights and if you got all the way one way, then past a click it turns on the interior light over your right shoulder.

Yeah I feel real stupid i went out to the garage and turned that all the way to the left and sure enough the dash lights came on. Appreciate the help fella’s!

Guess how I found out there is such a thing as a firing order? I also found out in that incident that your local Free Public Library usually has some Chilton and Haynes manuals which are better than nothing and do have the firing order in them.

Age has eroded my pride down to the nubs. At 20, I knew everything. I realize now I know nothing. I would gladly accept being stupid in exchange for an easy fix.
