Default Tires

So I was wondering if a set of LT265/75/R16 inch tire and rim would fit on my 92 Dodge Dakota both tires have 6 lug and the tires I was looking at had a 6x5.5 lug spacing, I can't seem to find jack anything for tires for my truck without having to go out and spend 1000+ on a new set of wheels and tires. If anyone has tried this let me know cause I got 205/75/15 on my pickup right now there just skinny and add no stance to the truck so I was hoping to add some stance but with a set of more beefier tires.

I have 215/75/15s on my ‘93 and they seem beefy enuf to me. OEM calls for 195/75/15 and they’re hard to find.

I deem to remember using later model wheels on my '93 back in the day. They worked okay but I do remember when I went over bumps at speed, there would be a scrape as they dropped. It never really caused problems, just something that happened.

My extended cab 93 2wd has 235/75 r15 on stock rims. I painted the wheels black along with rear of the truck so yeah the wheels are stock. I though that was what came on the truck factory because that’s the size which was on there when I bought it

I thought so as well for the size of truck. Couldn’t imagine going any bigger

I ran those size tires on my '93 back when it was a newer truck. They didn't rub and the truck was planted firmly.
