Junkyard it is then lol, I think the other aftermarket ones have “plugs” you drill out for fuel injectors, but knowing me I’d either cry drilling into something that expensive or mess it up somehow lol

What year electronics are you planning on using? There were some changes on the intake over the years. 94-95 had EGR, Some 96 manifolds had the provisions for EGR, but, with the advent of OBDII, it wasn't required, and was just blocked off. 96-97 also had two temp sensors, one for the gauge, one for the PCM, 98 and up only had one. The center divider inside the intake changed over the years as well, and I think it disappeared completely in 98 or 98.5???? On the newer manifolds, the boss for the second sensor was there, just not drilled/tapped.

I’m not sure to be honest. With this engine being a 99, the intake had no EGR, 1 coolant temp sensor, and the intake temp sensor. Though we’ve talked about how I need to use a 96-97 harness and pcm I believe to run obd2?

Yeah, 96-97 are going to be the easiest to adapt. Fair bit changed in 98.....

Alright, so 96-97 PCM & harness, and I’m assuming those have 2 coolant sensors so an intake with 2 ports, then just block off EGR?

If you can find a 96 or 97 intake without EGR, that would be best. The intakes are the same between 5.2 and 5.9, so, either will work.

Sounds good, there’s a junkyard on the way to where I work at school that has one so I’ll see if it’s the one I need.

Booo the only one nearby is a 95 with EGR. There’s one without EGR but it’s a 2001.

You can either carve out the EGR stuff from the inside of the manifold, block off the valve mounting surface, or drill/tap a hole for the second sensor. Drilling the whole would be easier.

would this be for the 2001 manifold? Guessing there is a boss on those like you said where I can just make the hole?
