I finally received the first 1/3 of the structure settlement. I think these situations require a PhD in Patience. But now we are down to just the building permit, and the framing will commence. Maybe there is a chance to see shop 2.0 by the end of the year. Winter is coming!!

The county finally issued my building permit this afternoon! I am now waiting to hear the schedule for the framers to show up. The trusses are in production, and will be here by the 11th. We are making some traction now! Yesterday we loaded two engines and three transmissions onto the trailer. They will be headed to the recyclers later this week.

What's the motor on the left from? A flat four? Volkswagen???

It's a Subaru EJ25 SOHC n/a motor that was in the baja bug. It had some work done to it - ~220 hp at the crank. Stainless steel exhaust with a Magnaflow muffler.
