Default 1995 5.2 magnum 2wd rough idle after warming.

1995 5.2 magnum 2wd rough idle after warming. So I've replaced pcv valve. Doing valve cover gaskets next weekend. Truck sat for honestly about a year so could have bad gas. What are some other things to look at when I'm under the hood. It starts like a champ but after like 5-10 min of idle will start rough idle and die. Will run fine with gas applied. Prior to pcv it would start going rough quicker.

Did. Didn't see anything. Thus the ask. Thanks for letting me know to look there.

NO record of it being changed. So probably as old as the truck.

Unplug it, drive it, see if it runs better. If it does, replace it. NTK or Denso sensors only please, these trucks don't like Bosch, etc.

Copy that just went ahead and ordered it. Most of the parts in that truck are older than my coworkers so I'm swapping stuff out as I'm in the system.

Did this motor have the plenum problem? It sounds like my 94 3.9 when I got it. There was oil in the plenum. I did it with a kit but changing the gasket works too. I also did the WP, timing chain, crossover hose while I had it open and all the sensors in the intake which I had tanked. I cleaned the TB too.
There is a factory service manual for the 95 in the FAQ section.

I bought a '93 with the 3.9 new back in '93 and it would die at idle and cleaning the throttle body stopped it for a while then it would need cleaning again. Open your butterfly plate and look down into the intake. If it's really oily your plenum may have blown out. It will drink oil if it blows. My '96 went from a quart every 600-700 miles to one every 50 miles.

So great news it was ether egr valve or more likely considering how crudded up it was the iac. But I broke part of that hose harness connected to the EGR (like three hoses in a plug together. No clue what it's called. If someone can tell me the name of what looks like a hose harness that would be great. (But starts like a champ idles no issue for like 45 min till I turn it off) And drives again. Just need to figure out what that hose is and sb2 should be installed and on the road.
