Check the fuel pressure and see if its correct when its running. This should halp to see if its any good or not. I think it should be about 40 psi for 94

Doubtful, if the pressure is 41. Have you checked you plugs and see if you have a good spark. Are you running good gas? Is your timing correct. Maybe even clean the idol speed motor port, also have a friend look at it while you try to start it with the air cleaner off. See if you can see any movement at all.

Idol speed port is the sensor on the rear of the throttle body. Take it off and clean it with some carb cleaner.

Take it to the dealer, they may not even charge you, they can set the distributor correctly. With a timing light you can see what it is at idol and compare it to a value you would have to look up. Its not going to ba advanced much at idol.

The timing on your DAK is ECM controlled, unless you pulled the dist. out its hard to get it out of time. Try depessing the throttle slightly when starting to see if that helps. There is a diagnostic for IAC in the manual (Haynes).and is simply done. There are a few other possibilities. Check your fuel pressure when you are just ready to start the truck. It is possible that the injector screens have become clogged with rust flakes--this usually shows up when your driving--severe unexlainable power loss. Clogged fuel filter. When you changed the fuel pump out, did you use new connector hose and good clamps? It is also possible that the fuel return regulator (on the fuel rail) is going bad, or you may have a vacuum leak on the actuator hose.
