Exclamation Turn Key, all power, No Start?

Is there a common problem besides the soldered link that could be causing this problem? Maybe key cylinder?

What happens is... I turn the truck to start and nothing. I still get power to everything else and I can hear the fuel pump prime.

It did this first thing this-morning, so I decided to try it again and it started.
Shut it off and try again, now nothing no matter what I try.

Sounds like Im going to have to go chasing wires. Not sure if its the starter? It kicked over one this-morning fine? but no more....

Have you tried whacking the starter with a hammer while somone holds the key?

Not when someone holds the key to start. I just waked it myself with the club haha. Will give that a try.

hahaha I was thinking of that as I was leaving today but no I haven't done the switch yet. Kind of glad now that i haven't yet so I know it wasn't something I was messing with lol.
If I have time tomorrow, Im gonna see if I can figure this no start issue out. If banging the start doesn't work, then I'm gonna test for power to the starter when the key is turned over. All the fuses in the engine bay are good.

Yeah, if the starter pics up and works while you hit it with a hammer, then you have a bad solenoid and the starter should be replaced.

Have you checked the connection on the P/N safety switch? Cause I found out with a little help from here. That the starter won't even click if the switch or wiring is bad. Ground the middle pin on the p/n switch and see if it turns over. Just an idea
