yea sorry to tell you, the entire dash has to come out, we had to replace the contols for the heat/ac on my moms 02 and the entire dash had to come out, its a real PITA but it can be done, just be careful not to brake anything and you should have no problems

It should only be the shroud that cover the stock head unit then a few screws. Then again you have the newer interior so don't quote me on that.

It is the face and a few screws. Not the entire dash just for a radio.

That "all one piece" just pops off. Then you see the radio screws. Easy actually.

All '98-'00 interiors were the same and then all '01-'03 interiors were the same. However, each still had a "all one piece" that just pops off

it deffiniltly doesnt just pop off. i think i have to take off the two pieces under the steering wheel and below the a/c controls to try and get the piece around the radio out

that is correct and iirc there are a fex screws under neath the dash if you follow it down under the radio and ac/heat controls and tey have to come out then the whole dash from the drivers door to the glove box comes off, there might even be a screw in the glove box that you have to take off

Still that's just 'pops off' when compared to someone telling you to take the entire dash out. A few screws here and they, I should have said, it is easy and left it at that.

The front face on the dash should just pop off, no screws.

Nevermind.

Good luck.

yes there are i think 3 screws under the heat/ac controls, and 3 under the steering wheel, and then the entire dash should come off from there
