Default throttle body spacers

hi,
i have an 01 durango r/t with the 5.9 iam am looking to add more mpg and hp. so i was wondering about a throttle body spacer. if ne one has used one i am wonder how much u gained from it . i am also adding a cold air intake . ne info will be great

do a search. they are useless on these engines, you will actually lose power from it.

-2hp Don't bother. Go ahead with the CAI and instead of spending the $100 on the spacer go out and get a flowmaster (or whatever brand you prefer) muffler. Do a search on performance and you will get tons of info.

Oh Really? Well i installed the one from airaid from summit racing and gained almost 2 mpg and better throttle response too.

Yes i agree that the fuel is added after the spacer but all i know is without it i get 14.9 mpg and with it i get 16.8. Dont ask me how but it improved for me.

Hand calculated 6 different times. You know some of you guys kill me, you have no idea about my experience as a mechanic and such and treat some people like total freaking idiots. I have been an ase certified master truck mechanic for over 20 years so please dont treat everyone like a total noob about this stuff ok?
