Default 1999 Durango Overheating

I have a '99 Durango, 45K miles, Engine was overheating, thorough coolant flush w/ new coolant, still overheating, replaced thermostat, still overheating especially with the A/C on. Any ideas with next step on what to do ? Thanks

Whenyou ay overheating do you mean it's getting warmer than you like or it's peging out the needle? Are you losing fluid? Is the fan working properly?

It's overheating to the point of almost red-line. All pressures tested out OK at Firestone Shop. And yes it does spill out some coolant from the overflow tank after I park it. Fan does work OK. Thanks !!

I'd try another stat just to be sure, or test yours in a pan of water.

Ck and see if you have an electric fan and if it is coming on by actuating it.

Install a 180 T-stat,make sure your clutch fan is operating properly(replace if it's worn out),test your coolant,water pump might be going bad(it doesn't have to leak in order to be worn out!)
