Question on Power window motor repair Durango 1st Gen by Mean Green

Excellent guide, thank you VERY much.

R/C hobby shop had a $5 set of electric car motor brushes. Auto parts stores and Grainger couldn't find anything close. They are Kyosho # 70553-3 5mmx5mm carbon brush. They are a little too big so I used a nail file to shave sides down to correct size. New brushes didn't have the right ends so I crimped on new ones but could have soldered on the old ones. Used steel wool or fine sandpaper to clean up area where brushes make contact.

You can perform this repair more simply by just threading motor out the large access hole towards rear of door instead of removing entire regulator system.

LMC Truck has full replacement motor assemblies for the windows. They do free catalogs
