Default Engine Smoothness

My car is Dodge Durango year 2000. And I have problem in the engine smoothness, it is not stable sound, it goes up and down while in still position or driving. Nothing was done except spark plug and its wires were replaced but the problem is not resolved yet. The fuel injection system never maintained since five years.

1. It could be the IAC sensor located on the TB.

2. Did you replace the Cap and Rotor?

3. Clean the TB and while you have it off look inside to see if you have any oil build up.

For idle issues, replace the TPS. I will bet money that this cures your problem.

TPS333 at Autozone, or you favorite place. $40.

Dude you must understand... Vehicles in general have parts that break. Every car has maintenance issues some diff than others. As mileage on the odometer goes up parts will need to be changed. If one can not handle it, maybe they should get a bike and start pedaling.
Dodge makes great sturdy engines that last a long time.

Hey glad to see ya back. I was going to suggest that you take off the TB and clean it along with the IAC.

I would second the TPS. What plugs did you use when you changed them also? Our D's are very picky when it comes to the plugs you put in them. I have had good luck with plain old OEM Champions and I am on a set of autolite 3923's.

As for the troll get a life and mainain your ride. Until you have that figured out stick with a Kia or Hyundai then at least when you kill one of those you won't be out all that much money...
