We got Goodyear Wrangler RT/S on our D. We have over 65k on them and the fronts are damn close to being bald but the rears still have some life left. Because of the towing we use the truck for, we run the pressures at 45psi front and 50psi back which is the max pressure for the tires. Once I get the front suspension sorted out, we will be putting a new set of RT/S's on the front.

So, we'll see how these new tires hold up with that kind of weight on them most every day.

Like a champ. With the 4.56 gears, she shoots off the line better than some other drivers do in cars (And that's while towing the trailer.)

I actually passed a drivers ed car today that was doing about 40 in a 55 zone NO problem at all.

It will hold 75 mph with the cruise on without downshifting on all but the largest hills.

And I still get 10-11 mpg driving that rig around town or on the hwy.

Here it is without the trailer behind it:

Lol I wish my D could take off like a champ. It does not want to move very quickly witht he standard 3.55's towing over 6500lbs. 4.56's would be nice for my towing but we only pull our boat 4-6 times per year and even so with the overdrive off, it still gets up to 65 on the expressway but we avoided it this last time because the trailer brakes went out.

Did you install a EQ hitch with that much weight. This would incorporate the weight on the whole vehicel insted of just on the rear.

When I hook my 7300 trailer up with like 750 tongue weight I installed a 4 point EQ setup for the 12000 lbs settup and without my air bags it sinks me only 1 1/2 inch on the rear and 3/4 inch on the front as per specs. Althought I have had that weight incorporated on both axels at only 1/2 inch down but the trailer tongue was too high and not pulling flat.

This is better on your tires.

I put as much weight on the rear of the trailer as possible without making it fishtail and with the added leaf spring the Durango doesn't sag but about an inch or so in the rear.

Plus, I'm DONE spending money on this setup!

I didn't bother. I have a Tom Tom which shows mph so I get to see how far off my speed is.

I had a superchip tuner a while back and it would allow you to adjust for different size tires.
