Default What is this connector?

I am thinking perhaps this is a diag connector but not sure. (always thought green is diag). It sits above the transmission and is just above the extension housing (overdrive).. If it is not a diag connector where the heck does it go? I just swapped out my tranny and this particular plug i did not find where it goes. (I am not getting full lockup, it slips in and out. The extension housing is off my old tranny and OD worked fine on it))

Is your truck a 4x4? If so, that maybe the connector to the transfer box.

Thanks, master tech.... You the man, it was in fact the transfer case connection. I did not remove the transfer case during the removal and install of the new transmission, just slid it back out of the way.. So it must of came undone when I slid it back and I did not see it. had somebody else helping me so I might of not even been under it at that moment. anyways thx a bunch for helping me find out where it went.
