E fan
so i reading on DOC about the flex a lite fan. would this fan be satisfactory enough for DD and the very occasional towing? Also my 01 durango already has an electric fan on it does the flex a lite fan replace it AND the clutch fan?
also how does it make the ac cooler? i saw that comment was made as well. This was one of my primary reasons for maybe going this route. i already have the thermal tape on order to wrap the ac lines

A felx fan pulls enough air for what you want. The difference is, the cluch fan takes some HP to run where the flex doesn't take as much. The clutch fan WILL pull in more air when engaged because it stays rigid. The flex fan flatens out at high RPM but at low RPM pulls more air. It becomes a trade off...... More HP and gas mileage or work vehical?????

Im pretty sure your first post was mis-understood, as i was confused too. We thought you meant their flex fans (which are a direct replacement for the factory fan and bolt to the existing clutch). We recomend teh black magic kit because it does pull enough air to cool our engines and would work. I have the 180 black magic with controller and it does the trick, keeps me cool even when im pulling tractor sleds haha. It free's up extra hp due to the clutch/stock fan weight being removed in the belt system (less drag). The efan having better flow/better control is the contributor to a cooler AC radiator. When the supplied controller is tied into the AC circuit it kicks on and stays on whenever AC is used, now if it blows cooler air in your face i dont know, but the increased airflow on the ac's radiator should improve something.
I purchased my kit from Moesperformance.com over at dakota-durango.com. They are a vendor and their prices (in cart) will/would be cheaper for the BM180 fan.
