Lightbulb Supercharged 408 Build Up

I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to fit the turbonetics airhat on the holley throttle body without drilling a new hole? The holley TB is offset (same as a stock durango) and the turbonetics tube is dead center, made for a 4 barrel carb.

I don't think that'll work. I copied the setup at http://www.rtmods.com/vortech_kits.htm It's supposed to work on stock dakota/durango. I'll ask them and see what they say. I guess I could just drill a new hole and tack the other one shut if I had to...

The powerdyne's can safely run @ 6 PSI. They only grenade at higher boost because they weren't designed for it. You can get ceramic bearings, gates belt, and a performance impeller to hit 12+ PSI safely. Does anyone have the PDF file/instructions to use the factory belt tensioner on the powerdyne? I was told @ bionic dodge to also make an S bolt. I'm starting to build the shortblock tonight. I have the pistons/rods/rings together, and the main caps machined for the stud girdle kit.

That air hat should bolt up.

Other than that I'd just drill it and install a manual dial for pressure. (just an idea)

I'm not worried about it yet. Were about to start notching the block for the crankshaft and then assemble it. Hopefully I'll have it running this weekend.
