Question over head trip computer

does anyone know if the trip computer is seperate from the pcm and if so where is it located in a 2000 durango?
i have a 99 durango and i want to put in the overhead trip computer can this be done without having to rewire everything in the truck?
thanks in advance for any replies.

No it is not separate, the plugs should already be there and you just need to plug them in

no the plug is different all i had there before was the lights and the plug only had three wires for that. i thought the same thing figured dodge would use the same harness but nope. do you guys think maybe there is a harness that i can just plug into where ever the original harness runs to?

There should be a harness tucked in there for it.
