Default Overhead Console

Anyone have one with the display they wanna sell me. I've been reading and found out they are already wired you just need to splice into some things and either get/make a wiring harness and get the connectors. I'm probably gonna go to a junk yard and try and find one and I'll keep this updated if i find one and get it up and running. There is also a pretty good thread over on another forum i'm gonna follow if i ever get one. Anyone ever done this too?

i just got an overhead off ebay, but without the electronic display. i just want if for the lights and custom mount gauges where the display would go. make sure you have all the mounting plate that goes above the headliner. little hesitant about cutting up my headliner though.

i think it also depends on the plug you have up top though. but like you said, splice some wires and youre good to go. i can vaguely recall being a small simple plug above my headliner with i did my roof light install. i wonder if that plug is hot or if the dealer has to program the ctm for it to work. i doubt it will have to go that far but you never know.

We'll guys I found one out of a Durango on eBay and decided to buy it. Looks like I'm gonna have to get some wire and wire it up myself and I'm not sure if I'm gonna need any connectors yet either. Not sure when this will get installed I'll probably hold off until its warmer out but I'll keep everyone updated.

alright well it turns out the housing they sent it in doesn't fit on my truck so i thought i was screwed but i took the computer out of the 99 housing and put it in my 00 housing and it bolted right up. here are some pics of it in the truck and then the one it came in with the clip from my truck on it. haven't gotten it wired yet i just wanted to see what it looked like in the truck. so as soon as i get the time to wire it which who knows when that'll be i'll keep you guys updated.
