▲This guy up there▲ puts socks on his vents.... Who need's filters?

 

My 2004 Taurus has a cabin filter on the pasenger side below the window. Now I've never ripped into my heater core which I want to do but want to try a DIY cut from the fire wall if I can get some really good pictures of someone doing it so I assume the air comes in from below the windsheild just like the Taurus.

If one could do the same thing with a K&N or something??????? Here is some pics to discribe what Im talking about.
