If you are SURE it's not a harness issue then go to it. CHeck and make sure there is no water in any of the connections on the harness of the CTM and it's not wet. Windshield replacement has been connected to leaking water onto the CTM.
The problem with the oil light and temp thing mixed with problems with the PCM voltage and strange things like that point me to the CTM. I looked into the correlation between the PCM and CTM and they are wired together.
This is just my opinion.

from what i was reading online, there a re 2 versions, the crap version and the high end version that has keyless entry and a bunch of other stuff.... we dont have an alarm, but have a peanut shaped key fob for keyless entry... i guess i need the better one....
can i remove this part from a donor truck and take it to a dealer and have it reflashed? or does it need to be mounted in our truck? i am just worried, i spend another $200 and it still doesn't fix the problem.....

if your getting a corelation code i dont think its the ctm the ctm is doing what its supposed to do when it sees the corelation code it will shut the engine off to prevent damage check your wiring at the tps and at the map sensor and your grounds check the wiring staraight back to the pcm check it for continuity and resistance high resistance causes problems

no one ever said anything about the ctm shutting down the engine.... only thing we ever heard was bad pcm.... no one has even ever looked into the ctm being an issue.....
the wires were checked with a dvom, thats why the dealership said pcm, given the history of all the sensors i replaced and the codes kept coming back.....
ugh.... this is jsut as frustrating as dodge saying oh we fixed it, there is nothing wrong, it's a bad pcm.....
glad i don't have to deal with any of that crap on my 85 toyota

how sure are you its the ctm? and is it a part i can just get and take it in my hand to the dealership? or do they need to do it in the vehicle? should they try to flash the current one first?
when we had an issue with an 00 dakota, we had a cel and a p0601, it was recommended to have the dealer just flash it, instead of replace the pcm... well it worked... the flash made it go away

I don't think it's the CTM but hell you have replaced all else. Again, my bet was on a previously replaced part.
BTW, CTM will run you $490, dealer only install, D is required to be there (LOL) and take both key fobs with you if you are going to try that.
