With that said I am thinking you have a 5.9L correct? You need to stop throwing parts at it and come here instead. First, you need to reset the computer.
Engine Code Index (Check Engine Light?)

Next this is a emissions problem as Sharp is saying. Did you replace the gas cap with a dealer cap?
as my name implies, i have a 00 durango 4.7L magnum SLT with both wires coming off the plugs (was unaware that they can now magically send elctrical current to a spark plug without a wire)AND AWD....

the 4.7 is a powertech engine no matter what year it was put into the truck, it was BADGED as a magnum for marketing purposes (i guess thats the reason) but it never was a true magnum engine.

i will also add that until now i have NEVER seen a 4.7 AWD that was an American sold model

A very pathetic way of displaying your common miss-understanding of the English language. With that said here is an easy definition:

Spark Plug Wire: These special wires are designed to conduct voltage from a central coil to a spark plug.

Coil Over: Is a coil that is directly over a spark plug and attaches directly to a spark plug for voltage transfer.

On the 4.7L motor there is no central coil, therefore there are no "Spark Plug Wires" as I have identified in my previous post. What they do have is a individual coil over designed coil pack. Now there are wires that power each of these coils, but by definition they are "coil wires" not spark plug wires.

American, Rare 4.7L MAGNUM (not power whatever the name was in the 99s) (5.2 MAG Sleeved) special order made with dealer on the other options however.
1999 Power Tech 287 cu. in (4.7L) V8:--- Bore x stroke: 3.66" x 3.40"

1999 Magnum 318 cu. in (5.2L): Bore x Stroke: 3.91" x 3.31" (99.3 x 84.1)

As you can CLEARLY see, they are 2 different bored and stroked motors so there is NO WAY possible that you could Sleeve the motor, not to mention if it was possible it would not be a 4.7L motor anyway. Now just to give you the "benefit of the doubt" I will hold my head respectfully and request your literature backing up your bogus statement.

Before you open your mouth you need to do your home work.....

Also I wanted to clarify something, there were some rare 4.7L AWD models made, however they were only produced Canadian models....We have yet to get the model number of the T-case they used.
