Yea I've seen Rustoleum or whatever I think that's just the brandname right? I figured they would have a primer and paint that go together.. I'll get down there to check sometime this week.

or if you have a paint shop they can make you a can of actual car primer and they can mix you a can of automotive paint in a spray can that will match your color. i have done this before when rock chips get bad on the hood. its like 20 bucks a can but it looks better than just primer. but yeah like sharp said sand it good. then after painting it and it dries buff it. oh yeah make sure when you get the paint its the one with the clearcoat mixed in with it.
