Nice.....I like the look of Nerf's,plus you take away the worry of rotten rocker panels from the run boards....My wife claimed ours also.I barely have the work on it started and she's already hanging chachki's all over. All good though, she won't complain when I start mod's.....

That's the first thing my wife noticed when she got in it. Does add an extra touch to the interior.I'm just glad it's in good condition, every D I've seen in the bone yards around here has a mangled interior

I cheated I copied my introduction topic from the main forum but hey it's still me..

Well i have a 1999 Durango SLT Elite Edition with the 5.2l Magnum and 4 wheel drive. She's black and has some ruff spots but what do you want for FREE (yes I said free) I got her from a friend who hadn't driven her in over a year due to a new Jeep. She was letting me borrow it till she decided just to give it to me cause she liked the extra space in her driveway.

Here are a few pic's i just took at lunch

as you can see in the front shot the upper bumper is rusted (worse on the PS) also the front fender has rot too

If you look close under the doors yes that's rust and it all fell away so going to have to repair that

The underside of the back door (yup rust too) is rusted so going to replace that as well.

But for the most part she runs wonderful drives nice, has some creaking and groaning and a little wobble. but all that is expected from a car owned by a woman the couldn't tell you where the wiper fill is.

Well that's it for now catch you all in the Forums....

Not bad lookin' at all, I want that bottom stripe on mine. BTW the rust on the bumper is very common, you'll most likely have to replace it. Also if you want a quick cheap lift just do a t/s lift there are a ton of threads on them.

hey dirtrango- i just changed my steel upper bumper and it only cost $82.50 and that was also shipping. my wife and i changed it and it was a first for us. there is not to much to taking it off, just take the whole thing off because it is easier to separate the steel and plastic pieces. when you take them apart be careful for the little screws that hold them together. if possible i would try to get some penitrating oil on them for a couple days before so maybe they will come off easier. also i bought all new clips and screws for that portion just so it was easier. [ 1/4-20 machine bolt with washer and the matching clips] i bought at Bond auto parts. good luck if you do it-hammer
