Default Tires and rims.

It seems like I am the only one with 16in rims. I currently have 265/70r16 with no rubbing at all. What would be a good all terrain tire size?

a 265/75/16 is the equivalent to a 31x10.5

With the t/s lift & some trimming/relocating of the front bumper 285/75/16 will fit. the 285 is wider than the 33/1050's I ran & will need trimming that mine didn't. you will also want to relocate a connector under the splash panel drivers side front lower rear. if you have rear a/c there are some lines in the rear you may wish to protect. If you have running boards I would expect clearance issues with them as well.

I recently helped a friend of mine put these on his. after seeing my 33's he wouldn't accept less on his. the front bumper was our biggest rub point & after trimming contact is on the frame rail.

For cost & fitment I would try to source a set of 15" wheels. the cost of tire will drop a few hundred & you will have better clearance with the 1050's.

If you top off the t/s lift with a 3" body lift, body rubbing issues will go away but the frame will still be a contact point. you could fab up some turn stops to remedy that.

What about a 34x10.50x16? The o.d. is 33.6".
