i dont follow the question, based on the picture i would say there is one which looks much like a small K&N air filter cone, and one which is just a flat screen probably for larger debris that could get in the tank

1. The bottom (1st) is a screen filter that stops any large debris on the bottom.

2. Then the fuel goes into into the main hollow body where there is 3 large filters (I think 3) and those filters are like 20- micron mesh filters.

3. Then the fuel is compressed in the pump and pushed up to the top of the assembly where there is the fuel regulator.

4. Fuel passes through the regulator where it is kept at no more than 54psi (new).

5. Then the fuel flows up to the fuel rail.

but the rest of us (sane people) have to drop the tank to get the fuel pump (and filter) out
There are a lot of odd things hidden in my D but i dont think that makes me crazy. Just because i put reflective lightening bolts on my fender and shout "Ca-CHOW!!!!!" at every stop light means im cool

Dans01Durango: Now now... Duranged isn crazy, he just thinks differently than others with more restraint.
You are def fighting a loosing battle there, but thanks for the support.

People do look at me weird when i change my oil/check the fluids, dont have the faintest idea why though
