99 Durango 5.9 SLT 4x4. was a special order for a lumber company (I'm thinking executive vehicle...) leather, infinity speakers, skid plates, etc.
91k miles on it. Body is rough in places (front fender and flare, and hail damage) but seems to be ok. Transmission was rebuilt right before I bought it, has a 12mth warranty. 6k dollars, out the door.
Now.. I have to get new tires, shocks, front brakes, etc... I'm thinking I didn't get the deal of a century, but I reduced my payments by getting rid of my 07 Silverado for this. Also, I am not saving any money in gas.. 12mpg sucks!!

Bought my 98 Durango 4x4 5.2 two days ago for $2800. It does have high mileage 168k but has had the Tranny rebuilt and new:
  • Radiator and hoses
  • Battery, Belt, Altenator
  • AC and lines
  • 31" BFG All-terrain tires
  • Brakes, Rotors, Brake lines, and Shocks
For being a 98 it is super clean, engine compartment and chassis looks like its straight off the dealers lot brand new. It has a few minor interior cosmetic problems and a few paint chips here and there. Bought it as a camping/backup rig when my daily drivers need attention.

Smile I thought I did good? LOL!

But some of you did way better...free even...I got mine a day ago from the in laws...They had it sitting around for 3 years has 124k is a 2000 Durango SLT, I paid 2500, they told me to make them an offer and I offered them the lowest price I could find for a working one on craigslist in LA, Tucson, PHX, and San Diego....So far the only thing it needed was new tires...

Smile Price For Durango

Hello.

I got a 2000 slt 4.7 4wd fully loaded, leather seats, tow pkg, no dents no rust, with 130,000 miles on it, all the service records since the man had it, and what few repair bills he had, recalls all done,Brand new tires all the way around and new brakes front and back, all I did was have a rack put in bought the suv for $4200.00. Which I thought was a good price.

Last month I bought a 2000 Durango fully loaded 4.7l 4x4 tinted windows, custom flowmaster dual exhaust, and a fresh tune-up. A little bit of rocker rust and scratches, but I bought it for $600. The guy was selling it because the engine was knocking, he said it needed a new engine. I dumped half a bottle of seafoam in it and it stopped knocking instantly, it runs pretty good now besides a few little electrical problems.
