battery is new, just did a lot of cranking so was charging it

tried 2nd scan tool and it also doesn't talk to the ECM...thoughts

Disconnect the crank sensor first and see if you can talk to the ECU/PCM. You either have a sensor taking the BUS down or no power at the DLC.

Ended up being a loose cam bolt on the left side.
