Question Infinity Speakers

So I have been looking around on the web and DF about what kind of speakers my 2001 Durango has in it. Though unsuccessful at getting a solid answer, I have found that I have either got 6012i's, 6002i's, or 6022i's. I am at work right now and am currently bored as f*** so I figured I would just start a new thread. Thanks in advance for the assistance!

You have none of the above if they are stockers.

Infinitys? Yes. 6000 series? No.

6.5" is the size you need for the lower door ones if it is like mine. Best Buy has Infinity's if I remember right.

My Bassers are rattly maybe just need a new seal on them but my drivers side tweeter is blown and I was looking to see if I could just find a replacement for the Infinity upgrade tweeter to replace it, unless I choose to upgrade my system which I dont really feel like doing.

You have none of the above if they are stockers.

Infinitys? Yes. 6000 series? No.
Thanks Indy, for the worthless and unhelpful reply. I appreciate it a lot.

I would go to a dealer to probably get a product number. Indy was just stating that the 6000 series is one of their aftermarket product replacement lines. All brands have that where the make speakers for just one vehicle to make the best and fullest sound in the cab possible.

Checking with the dealer would give you a speaker replacement product number for that individual speaker, therefore you can look up pricing online for that speaker

No need to be rude towards others on here he was just trying to help.

I understand his attempt to help but if he didn't have anything else to say other than my being wrong and not offer any input, then his post is very unhelpful. Its like telling someone they're fixing something wrong and not telling them the right way to do it.

I wasn't trying to be a complete dick, I was just very irritated.

Biting the hand that feeds eh? Okay then.

Errr.... you were being a dick. And even after reviewing your post again thinking perhaps I missed something, other than seeing your flipped and useless commentary about how board you were and posting on the internet ... while at work instead of working ... and that just decided to start a thread for some unknown reason ... there was no question posted therein. None. Even SS questioned what you were looking for.

So my reply was then deemed to be not helpful? in your infinite wisdom, you had determined that you had one of three things when in reality I informed you that you had none of the three you had selected. I didn't answer a question because none was asked. I then went on to non-inform you that indeed you do have Infinity speakers if they are still stockers and that those same stocker speakers were not any of the 6000 series. Perhaps all of that non-information needed to be spelled out and then written in crayon for easier comprehension. That could be the only thing more simpler since my reply initially contained only 15 words in the first place and now 20 times that many to explain it to you again in this reply.

So with that said, good luck to you. You will get no further help from me.

Keep 'er straight and between the lines.

IndyD

P.S. Thank you WhiteWidow

And personally I would just go ahead and get 2 infinity aftermarket tweeters, slap them in the driver and passenger side doors and call it a day. It will probably be the more economical, easier route to go. Not to mention you'll get the price you want to pay, not the dealer prices.
