Cousins? Nope.... more like the red-headed step-child!

Pacifica was a dead battery (go figure) as well as the serpentine belt literally shredded itself. Hmmm... and only after a mere 33k miles.

AND she took my Durango to work today, but told me that she'd swing by and get it washed on the way home. Maybe there *is* an upside to this after all!

Not much I can do about it, but in each case, a couple of good tugs usually breaks it free.
I used to have that happen as well, mostly on the passenger side. I found a couple issues, first that the hood-to-cowl seal rubber was in pretty bad shape, so I replaced it and tacked it in place with some clear RTV to stop it from coming off the lip. The other thing I found was that the inner fenderwell was missing a couple plastic fasteners in the lower rear that may have been allowing water to spray up into the door jamb. Since I cleaned those things up & keep a coat of armor-all on the door seals I've had no problems with freezing doors.

Why is it we always get the older dirty one and not the new one?

Look deep down inside your soul and ask yourself....

Would you really want it any other way?

I know I'd much rather be driving the one that I don't have to cry if I come home with a tiny scratch or rock chip... (Because it's pretty much guaranteed I'm going to do that from time to time... )

LMAO!..........Wish we could trade them in when they hit 40 for 2 - 20's eh!....

I had a new GMC Duramax and making that payment sucked, you never wanted to do ANYTHING that would hurt it. One of the main reasons I got rid of it! My truck, well it pisses me off when I hurt it, but if it happens it happens and I'm not going to loose sleep over it. Of course I don't want to have anything happen to it, but if it does at least I am not making a $600 payment per month with a broken truck.....LOL

Yep, that's about how I feel about it.

Just makes no sense to me to have a 4x4 capable of slugging through all sorts of nasty terrain, but then being afraid to take it out of the garage if there's so much as a cloud in the sky because you want to keep it in pristine condition.

Save that treatment for the Corvettes and Porsches (or better yet the '72 Hemi 'Cuda restored to showroom condition). The entire purpose of trucks like these is to get out in the rough stuff where things happen to them from time to time. It's what they were born for, it's what makes them happy.

I was at WalMart getting stuff to do an oil change and came out and saw a black car screeching out and came back to my truck to see a nice size dent and sideswipe marks. Needless to say I stepped on it and put my 5.9 to the test and caught up to that SOB.

Followed him to his house and blocked him in and reported a hit and run. Nevertheless I got his insurance information and am getting it fixed ASAP. First actual marks of someone hitting me and I couldn't believe how furious I was.

Love my D too!
