Changed plugs- now a bunch of codes. Help please!!

You have the 5.9 so that might be a factor. Once the welded socket comes back from the body shop I will change the plugs.

Yep because you can't run an MSD ignition system on a 4.7 engine it just ain't possible. Also, I started off with just Champion Copper but ended up having to open the gap more than I was comfortable with to get it at peak performance so that's another reason I upped to Iridium.

So far I have 18,000 miles on the plugs and I pulled one to check it out and it looks as new as when I pulled them out of the box. Champion just makes a great product all around.

Just an update- all codes gone after the change from the Autolite plugs to the Champion plugs.

Thanks again to everyone for the advice. I don't think I would have ever assumed that the plugs themselves could have been the problem.

Glad we could help. Sometimes a simple and the cheapest solution maybe just as it appears....The easiest one. Thanks for keeping us updated.
