I took it to a transmission mechanic & he said all it needed was a new cable, he changed it & adjusted the new one, it worked well. He also said he would clean the throttle body (separate job) & while cleaning he dropped the brush inside the throttle body. My brother & I removed the throttle body bolts to take out the brush & we did. & now this morning my transmission problem is back. Could it be that we messed up the cable adjustment?

As I said in the PM,

I don't think that you could have messed it up, but then again anything is possible?

I changed the oil & filter (found no metal shavings) but still does the same thing. I am looking to replace the shift solenoid & sensor but want to make sure this is the part: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/dodge...Q5fAccessories

Can anyone please let me know if this is what I need. I have a 99 Durango 5.9 2WD.

Thanks in advance
