Default 2001 4.7 Rough Idle Need a solution!

I have a 2001 4.7 with 119,000 miles on it. Other than oil changes and new brakes this truck has run fantastic for me. Last week while driving home I noticed it all of a sudden started vibrating through the steering wheel. When I came to a stop I noticed the rough idle, and the steering wheel had a noticeable vibration. As I drive there is a constant vibration/shaking through out the whole truck. I'm not sure what to check. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance! -M

I bought it used with 12,000 on it from a dealer in 2002 and I have never done spark plugs on it.

spark plugs are a 30k mile part, they should have been changed 4 times by now, you need to go out and buy 8 copper core champion plugs and gap and install them, then reset the PCM, at 120k miles on the origional plugs im surprised they still fire at all.

Thanks, I will do that. Is resetting the PCM a big deal. Would I need to go out a purchase a special tool for that. Or is it something I could rent for the day?

Also, there are several other things you should do if you haven't ever done a through tune up like cleaning the fuel system, throttle body and IAC. You can find instructions in the FAQ section. You may be surprised at the results.
Don't forget to post your results.
