I had a Super Pursut. I was told by the owner of the dealer it was his personal Durango. He stated the Super Pursuit I bought was built before Shelby put his name to the vehicle. Due you have any record of these and was he being truthful. I bought it in Crystal lake Il 60014 Red with Gold stripes. 408 stroker engine.
I have tons of details and well over a 2 dozen pictures of your #169. I don't have it entered into the thread registry yet. Your D was initially sold and was listed both of the last times it was for sale in Texas. In fact, until now all three times #169 surfaced it was in a different part of Texas.
~400 miles ago and about this exact time last year it was listed at $15,000 MORE than it was just for sale this last September. Don't know what happened but the September asking price was VERY respectable. That vehicle was literally, showroom floor spotless clean. Where did you ultimately end up buying it from? Your stereo/sub box/extra speakers are uber-cool. Do you still have those?
Yes your vehicle was Stripe Delete directly from the get-go.
Catch up with me on the DOC and we will trade more info, etc and then get it added at the next update. I need to add yours along with #024, #026, #034, #099, #125 & #192.
Nice to "met" you.

Is this forum still active? I now have #169 and I’ve been reading through past posts and found this conversation.
I work at a new Dodge Dealership in Bountiful Utah. I recently took in on trade a 1999 Dodge Shelby Durango SP360. From what I understand they only made 300. ours has multiple serial # tags with 379 on it. My customer told me the guy he bought it from said he wanted the # to match that of his Dodge Viper and that it was changed at the Shelby Factory. He claimed it is the only one that is out of sequence and the only one with a factory tow package. He also said it was painted a slightly different blue to match his Viper, all done at the Shelby factory. Has anyone heard of this? It is for sale just so everyone knows. It has 43,000 miles. Any insight would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
There is a #399 or #499 that's out of sequence as well. I have a feeling he just wanted the receiver installed and that is what he is calling the "tow package". His looks factory colored, probably because they were painted viper blue to begin with. His is very rare in the fact it is 4wd. There was ~30 that were 4wd.
