I get up for school at 6 in the morning get in the truck, put it in drive, it takes a few seconds for drive to engage and then as i go down my drive way it feels sluggish and then bucks every 2 seconds. now this is one of the many problems with my durango but i love her so i have to fix it any ideas?
Hey Dylan, I'm no expert, but have u checked the transmission fluid level lately? Anything leaking under the truck that you know of? Gotta start somewhere!
How many miles are on the truck? Been keeping up on tranny fluid changes and flushes?

Can you rev the engine while in Park without hesistation? If it just happens while moving it may be a transmission issue. Tranny fluid naturally expands quite a bit as it heats up, so it takes up less room when it is cold. You may be a little low on fluid. Do the following to check the fluid:
- Drive ~15 miles
- Shift through all gears (a few seconds per gear)
- On level surface, put in Neutral (pull emergency brake/ block wheels)
- Check dipstick
it has 120,000 and no leaks from the tranny perfect colored fluid and at a perfect level i can rev it in park no problem, im going to flush the tranny tomorrow and put some new fluid in it and see where it goes
