Default Check this out....Evap hose kit

Yeah, I know there are numerous threads about the dreaded P0442 code, and that is what i have now. Just wanted you guys to check something out...look at this link....looks just like the hoses coming off of my Evap canister underneath the truck.....what do you guys think?

Or could this be for something else?

you're not gonna loose out much if it isn't the right one.. its just a hose.

they are the evap hoses that go under the truck. most of the time the dreaped evap code on these trucks is normally just a broken line. the vents on our trucks are consealed and dont normally burn out

Well, when I get the hoses replaced at the evap canister, and I still get the CEL..just might go ahead and replace the Purge solenoid anyway...its not that much at Autozone...after that...LDP?

Those hoses are the same size/shape as the Mopar emissions hose kit I have bought (two times now) at the dealer for around $10. Seeing that the Napa price is almost half the OEM price you can't lose. I've seen that exact kit on a shelf in a Napa store I often frequent and thought it was cool that they sold that specialized hose kit.

It was the cure for one of my truck's P0442 conditions. The other truck I replaced all the hoses, even though these hoses still looked good. I kept the old ones for spares.
