That is the Intermediate Steering Shaft and I have not seen any "just" replacement joints available. You have to buy a new shaft or a junk yard. You can search for the correct terminology as there is information in this section. There is a company that makes a joint assembly, but not just the joint, however there was one guy that I thought had a part number one time, but lost track.

Your options are very limited. I have only come across one aftermarket company. If you decide to go with a new dealer part, check with this dealer www.stevewhiteparts.com. They have legitimate pricing (well below MSRP). I used them recently for my steering shaft, upper radiator hose, and blower resistor & pigtail.
And, no I don't work for them. I just stumbled on their site a few months ago.

Unfortunately I live in Canada and we get ripped off on parts, the dealer wants $401. I checked out www.stevewhiteparts.com and they have a great price so I sent them an email to find out how much the shipping would run. I found one earlier on ebay for $140 with free shipping but it turns out mine has a unique part number even though the one on ebay was for my year make and model, can’t say I understand that. Can anyone give some insight on the various part numbers for the same make year and model? I found a place that sells the actual joints but they need to know whether it is 14 or 15 mm caps and they said it was fairly easy to change them. Not sure if that is an option for me.

I'd be leery of a rebuild. I haven't found anyone that does it. That tells me that it is either dangerous or not cost effective. Who knows?
The site you checked out is good. They only charge you true shipping fees... No handling fee BS. Each of my 3 orders arrived within a few days and they email you the tracking number.
