2000 4.7 rough idle 11.4 city 13.5 highway mpg 104k miles
When I bought it from a Dodge dealer where we are from in Illinois they did a complete tune up and fluid change before I drove it off the lot. I saw the truck in the shop part with the hood open and a guy working on it. Maybe they didn't do everything they were supposed to because I didn't get charged extra, I don't know now.
ok the truck is still doing the same thing with the new plugs. the pre cat o2 sensor was replaced about a year ago when i was having problems with the power steering oil pressure switch leaking fluid through the wiring harness and throwing check engine lights.
resetting the PCM is critical after making changes like this
also my truck DID come from the factory w/ autolites in it (i had them sitting in boxes in the garage for a while) until i changed them and put champions in.(yes, the manual and under-hood sticker both list champion as the recommended and supplied plug)

yup still the same problem.. when the car is cold the idle is a little higher and it runs fine.. as soon as it gets up to temp, the idle drops down to around 600 and its starts again. i have one of those cheap code readers and i was watching the advance timing and it is normall between 8 and 14 but will randomly go up to 16 and down to 6, also the pre cat o2 will jump up to .920 and the post will jump to .88 almost everytime there is a stumble. it almost seems now like its is constant up and down on the idle. hope any of this helps
