in 2000 w/ the 5.9 there is NO tcm, just the PCM in 2003 with the 4.7 dodge combined the PCM and TCM (ECM is a ford term, we dont use it round these parts)

Well I can't see anything wrong with what I see so far, then again I'm not a transmission guru......

On a second note, you don't have very much clutch material on the magnet in the pad which is a plus. Have you ever had the pan dropped before and cleaned it? Also get a Transmission Output Sensor (from the dealer) while your at it, could also help with the ABS issue. The trans output sensor and rear speed sensor work together.

P0443 Evap Purge Solenoid Circ
this is probably the purge solenoid in the evap system should be fixed but will not affect the trucks running/driving

P1765-TRANS 12 VOLT SUPPLY RELAY CTRL CIRCUIT
this is most likely your problem, change/replace/check the transmission relay its probably bad.

Got the parts and plan to put them on today. Really tired right now, just got back from Cedar Point Amusement park. Place I ordered the parts from sent me the wrong neutral safety switch. All the other parts are ready to install. I'm going to get the vehicle speed sensor too from Autozone or Advance. Might as well get a neutral safety switch from them as well. Need the pan gasket and filter as well. The unneeded wrong part will get sent back. Hope this fixes it. If not, my next step is the PCM. Luckily, it's the SLT model 4x4 and should be plenty around in the local junkyards. Don't want to drop another $200-$250 in it if a junkyard part will work.

junkyard PCM wont work,(at least not without a visit to the dealer for a re-flash) they need to be programmed to your VIN# and mileage in order to work properly

Darn, guess if I have to get a PCM from the local salvage yard it's going to have to be re-flashed. Will have to make sure I get the module cheap then. Hope that the local dealership won't charge me a lot.

Here's the parts I'm preparing to install.

Neutral safety switch $20
Output Speed sensor $20
Overdrive solenoid pack $100
Governor solenoid $50
Governor pressure sensor (came with the od solenoid pack as a combo)
Filter and gasket $12
ATF 4 $5.69 a quart x 5

@ $250 total(ish)

Sure hope this fixes it! Will keep this thread open until the issue is resolved. Again, obviously I'm not the only person having this problem. Always good to have a link or a source to refer to when making a repair. Find out what the actual problem is and how to repair it.

I don't believe the pan had ever been off. The gasket was still cork and each bolt was equally torqued when removing. There was some material on the bottom of the pan by the magnet, but it was marginal and nothing concerning.

Where/what is the transmission output sensor? Is this the same as the governor pressure sensor? Bought both the gov pressure sensor and the rear speed sensor. Do these solenoids really go bad like that or is the cause typically something else? I.E. what's my chances of this curing the code & limp mode?

Thanks to everyone!

the transmission output sensor is on the outside of the transmission, on the tailshaft, it measures the speed of the driveshaft and does not need to have the pan down to replace, its a $20 sensor iirc

Everything bolted back up and replaced. Still stuck in limp mode. No first or overdrive. ABS, Brake and Check engine light on, code P0753. Next step is to order a new PCM. Is this the likely cause? Please! Anyone know where the problem probably is?

Quick recap of what's been replaced:
Governor Solenoid
Governor Pressor sensor
O/D solenoid pack
Neutral safety switch
Rear transmission speed sensor
Filter & Gasket
ATF 4 trans fluid
