Oh fun...I was wondering why I had all these options for a 98.
How do I order a build sheet?
I did look under the rig and it has the same size tires I have on, 31x10.5R15

EDIT...nevermind that,I just checked and it and got this....

These types of announcements don't come easy, but effective immediately Comp Nine will be closing its doors permanently.

That sucks....

The 1998 came with 31 10.5 15's and also 235/75/15 tires. Seeing that you have a 31 as a spare, and that if you read the tires build date you can most likely concur that your truck came with that size. That being said, you need to calibrate your instrument cluster. You run through the test over and over and try to place your indicators to the right spot as referenced by the reset notes as close as you can. Then see how far off you are with a GPS. If you are still off then get a tuner and have fun until you get it on and enjoy the performance it gives you.

As for a build sheet, go to our DIY sticky at the main page here in the 1st generation Durango section and click on it you will find your information. This first one's on me: https://dodgeforum.com/forum/1st-gen...wers-faqs.html

Or you can go to a Dodge dealer (parts) with your VIN# and they can print you off a build sheet.

Actually I found the sticker on the drivers side door says 235...so I am guessing that the P/O put 31's on it later and just switched the spare.
But I keep finding Canada symbols everywhere I look...Did they get a 5.9L and the AWD transfer case in 98? Also how can I tell if I have 4 wheel abs or 2 wheel? If I have all these other goodies on here shouldn't I have 4 wheel abs?

not necessarily, 4 wheel abs was an extra option

also i know that my truck came from the factory with 31 inch tires, im pretty sure my door stick says that it came with the 235s also (i am not home to confirm what the sticker says right now tho)

When you open your driver's door you will find a sticker near the bottom of the door.
Mine also list the tires as 235/75R-15 and I'm sure that my truck came with 31/10.5-15's.
I'm sure of this because when I use my wife's GPS unit the speedo is dead on.

My truck also has just the 2 wheel ABS.
There are no sensors on the front wheels.

Oddly enough though one of the front hubs must have been a salvage because it has a wire in it that has been cut off.

I just went outside and looked...Same as sharp and radar
The door sticker gives info on 235x75xr15 with 15x7 rims..
But I know mine came factory with 31.5x10.5x15 with bigger rims..The build sheet also contraindicts the sticker...
I have the same GPS match as radar does...accurate, so whatever calibrations it's had were probably factory.Guess I should keep that in mind if I repair anything tied in with speed sensors or gauges etc...still on a learning curve with this one.....

to check for ABS you can call the dealer with your vin and they can tell you, or go to dodge.com/owners and there is a contact link, click it and send your VIN and they will email you back in a couple days with a full build sheet

All the 1998-1999 Duragos all came with the 235 on the drivers label because that was standard, however dealer options are different then standard and that is what decides the tire and gearing combination. Take 2 seconds out of your life and get the build sheet I told you to get and that will prove what I told you and clear your thoughts of what you think could be.

Most likely your truck is Canadian, and that means other options could be different, however I have NEVER seen an AWD in a 1998 period. If someone did swap it then it is not factory.
