To make a long story short as I can i got the P0753 code that keeps coming back intermittently. When i first got it I replaced the overdrive or 3/4 shift solenoid and it was good for awhile. Now it keeps coming back intermittently and going into limp mode. I clear the code and sometimes its good for weeks or months and sometimes its back the next day. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

 

P0753-TRANS 3-4 SHIFT SOL/TRANS RELAY CIRCUITS

Could be that you have a corroded connection on the transmission where the harness plugs in, or a short in the wire inside the pan. I would say that you should probably get a hold of master tech. Does sound like just the solenoid though or connections.
