CB whip or antenna?
So i'v had a Cb radio in all of my trucks so far, just makes it easier when im out in the bush to talk to my buddies in the other trucks..
So my question is, where do you guys usually mount your CB whips or antennas?(on your deeranngo) i haven't really seen a good spot, and i'm just looking for some ideas!

I had a whip on the front end of my old taco, im not much a fan of it being there.. i was thinking of making a bracket that goes between the hatch and the body and sticks out, im ganna look tonight and see if i can do it would interfering with the hatch.
thanks though!

I run mine with mag base K-30 out rear door to roof. Anymore the hand helds go farther. There is not much difference in antennas from the race radio(FM) and CB. Funny thing I was at Fry's Electronics and they have the Uniden I bought years ago. I had Toyota T-100 and it bolted in the dash right under the radio like a factory option.
I run one on my Ram.
Firestik has a set up that works great because of the hood/fender bends. srch4me already hit on it, but Firestik makes a kit that is a direct bolt it. One of the issues is you can't get the sealed connector one because of the fender. But the firestik one bolts right on unless you want to do some kind of bolt on connector that is open to the weather. Model number MK-184R Here: http://www.firestik.com/Catalog/MK-184R.htm
Now I don't use their fiberglass whip, but they make a good one. I like about 3-4 feet so i can still go into the drive through and touchless car wash. I think I have a 3.5 foot on my Ram but I am lifted and this and that. Measure it out and see what you need.

Personally I think they look like rubbish mounted on the fender.
I made a custom bracket to hold my 4ft Firestik behind the drivers side tail light. I believe Firestik sells a similar bracket setup.
Here is the only pic I have of it, since I remove it for the winter (don't use the CB in the winter) but you can see where it's mounted. It's bolted inbetween the hatch and tail light and is bent 90* to make it located far enough over that when opening the hatch it doesn't hit, and no visible hardware when the hatch is closed.
