headlight bulbs

HID requires a compatible powered harness which is an added cost not to mention the headlights and the bulbs, and again wiring it all up.
Also anything driving down the road that is different then normal instinctively catches the eye of 99.9% of the general public, this includes cops. Just sayin, I don't need any help in that respect, not to mention I like plug and play OEM style things. Less to go wrong and easier to track down issues when they arise.

But if people are flashing you with your lows aren't u basically getting the same attention? Idk I never have had issues with getting more attention from the law with hids. Up to you dude, just hope your happy with your purchase! Idk if u have fog lights or not but upgrade those bulbs too just to add to the brightness

At the moment, i do not have fog lights. The truck had some after market fog lights which were glued onto the bumper, which really bothered me, and i am trying something that will just bolt on. As for the bulbs im siding more with the silverstar ultras after doing more research and listening to tbe input, but im also willing to test some bulbs out to further help others who are also looking for bulbs. For now ill get the silverstars and ill probably test out the philips ones a lil later and then maybe look into the piaa's.
