Spare tires are overrated.

I haven't carried one in years. Couldn't put one back under the truck due to the dual exhaust and I have no room in the back.

60k miles I've put on my Durango since I got it, and I've never had a tire issue. Heck, never stranded for any reason.

Besides, how many people actually check their spare tire pressure anyway? 90% of the time the tire is flat when it's needed anyway. So, regardless you'd still be stuck on the side of the road.

AAA is even overrated :P

Nice! lol...
so touchy shrpshtr! It is true. I haven't had to use a spare for any rig I have owned for over 5 years. And even then the only reason I had to use the spare is because one of my ex's slashed one of my tires. Would of been more but she got the razor stuck in the first lol

hmmm, call me nuts, i put air in my spare every time i rotate my tires, i also check the spare once a month, then again i check my air pressure and oil level and coolant level ect every time i stop and put gas in the truck . . .

although i will say that most of the time the spare is not completely flat, and running on a tire with low pressure is much better than running on a tire with NO pressure.

EDIT: roller, not touchy, just dont understand why common sense is becoming so rare in this world is all, it doesnt make sense to my why people are so lazy/cheap that they do some of the things they do.

There been times when having a spare tire has gotten me home, Or I would have been stuck. Most of the time, I will check all the tires every oil change.
