Default Tv cable adjustment

Ok so I attempted to adjust my tv cable today because on D, I can go WOT and I shift at 3,000 RPM. Now I could be wrong, but that doesn't seem right. So I figure I'd try to tighten up the tv cable but it didn't budge, I move the t retaining clip and pulled the black linkage toward the firewall, it moved slightly but it still seems loose and has 2-3 mm of play. What am I doing wrong?

Well after work I decided to tear into it. Come to find out the tv cable isn't even connected to the transmission, great. Think I have found the spot where it goes, but I can't get it to clamp down? Tips or tricks?

Does anyone have a schematic or diagram of where the tv cable is supposed to go?

if you checked the FAQ thread you would find a link to a mediafire link for other durango manuals and information

inside of that folder you can see all the pdfs available, sorted by generation and then year if applicable, in the 1st generation folder you can find this file http://www.mediafire.com/?4z89ndodf38txbr which explains the adjustment of the TV cable complete with pictures

Go from a bad/missing TV cable linkage to a broken out window, not to mention the drivers side mind you. Somethings missing here and it smells like bad eggs?

So what exactly does this do when you tighten it? All of the cables on my TB are loose. Should I redo them all?

All the cables should have some play ( Loose ). If the end of the cable at the throttle is broken. Then the cable needs to be replaced.
