Default Will 31s fit on a durango

I have a 99 durango with 235 75 r15s. Its not lifted and right now I'm not planning on putting one on. I do want a more aggressive tread though and a little bit bigger tire. I was looking at 265s or 285s but I'm having a hard time finding the tire I want in that size. So my question is will 31s or 30s on the durango?

31's will definitely fit stock ride height. Have you thought about the torsion/shackle lift? You'd then be able to probably fit 33's on. I recommend doing a search as there is a ton of information on tires and sizes around here.

31s will fit stock, thats the size of tire that came on my truck from the factory.

also t/s lift will not fit 33s without rubbing you also need a body lift (or a comically narrow tire)

Will 31 X 10.5 X 15's fit? The answer is yes. End of topic as I see it.

Thanks for the help. I have looked into a torsion shackle lift. That may be a future project. I haven't decided yet.

Sorry to hijack!
But I am going 265/65R18 here soon and it is 32.8" tall, and 11.1" wide. I am going aftermarket on the rims that are 18x9's with a 5.71" BS. If I do the T/S lift and cut a little bit anyone think we can do this?

i wouldnt suggest it, those plastic fenders are there for a reason, to keep water off the electronics in the engine bay, cut them down and you start letting alot more water in while driving, water and electronics do not mix.

can you physically do it? most likely, however i recommend against it.

roller, you should have started your own thread
