Default Weird noise from rear of Durango

So I have recently noticed a strange noise from the interior rear of my Durango. The best way for me to describe it is sounds like a water bottle (with a little water in it) swooshing around. Seems to only do it when I am moving. I thought it could have been something to do with the heat/ac but it happens when they are off. Any thoughts?

Mine makes a similar noise from the front when I floor it real hard. Sounds like water dripping or something weird like that. Never noticed any leaks or anything so I just ignored it...Do you have rear air/heat?

It's probably coolant flowing in and out of the rear heater core or maybe even for the rear washer fluid.

Have u checked your antifreeze? It my be a little low causing that. I know my old ram had a small leak at the bottom radiator hose and when I got at a certain level I would get that noise from my front heater core

Only when you are moving? How about turning? Does it matter if you are coasting or accelerating?

Only when moving and yes when turning. Doesn't seem to matter if I'm coasting or accelerating.

When the friction modifier in the rear differential breaks down it can cause some odd noises. Do you have lsd (limited slip differential)? If so, try replacing the fluid and modifier in the rear diff. It's not too tough and will only cost you about $40.

I'm not sure. I have 2003 r/t with awd. Does that help?
