As a few of you guys know that I have been haven probs with getting my D to stay running,, Well its been starting an dieing an then I blew the PCM box an when I got another one an put it in then it just did the same thing start for couple seconds then die,, Its been doing this now for a good month,, So last friday I checked my oil to make sure it was ok cause I change it a day after I got it,, When I checked it it was milky yellowes,, But a darker yellowes, I thought it was water, But now I drained it out an I know for sure that it is gas in my oil an can smell it good too,, Well I was wondering if it could be pos that all this time that the D was flooding an makeing the gas go into the oil or if something else mite be wrong now, Or could anybody tell me what I could check, I figure that I go ahead an change my oil an filter an see if it does it again since my D is running good now with the 2nd new rebuilt PCM box

 

I would just change the oil and filter and see if it does it again... It may have just been from the other issues that you had. run it awhile and go from there..

 

Ok oldschool thats what I am going to do,, I drained the oil a took the filter off last night so it could drain out over night,, Going to parts place an get some new oil an filter,, An Thanks for all ya help to ,,,,

 

If your fuel injectors are leaking down, fuel can drain down the cylinder wall and cause damage. Run a healthy dose of injector cleaner through and keep monitoring for fuel in the oil.

 

Ok,, Thanks hillbilli I will be getting some injector cleaner an putting it in the gas tank when I put the new oil in the motor,, An was just wondering if I should go with a heavyer oil for now,,

 

Stay with 10w-30. Use sea foam for your tank

 

i agree with the above, it is most likely from the cylinders flooding by the engine not running and the gas just leaked through so change it out and keep an eye on it, if it happens again then take another look.

 

Hey guys,,, Just wanted to let ya know that so far so good,, I put new oil an filter in this morrning an started my D up an running great,, Had to fill trans up with fluid an its full now,,, I have drove my D for the first time in about 2 month I guess,,, I drove it for about 30 mins so far it did great, I let the oil drain down some then checked it an its still nice an clean oil,, Thanks everybody,,,,, Got couple other things I got to take care of an will make another post for em,, (got to find out how to spell it),,,,,lolThanks again an I really feel that the gas in oil was from me cranking it so much an it wouldn't run,,,
