Default should i buy this durango?

looks rllealy nice on outside, dont see any rust. for $1600 sounds really cheap. what you guys think?

I would be carefull...something seems wrong with it at that price. I would drive it and take it to a dealer and get it looked at if I were you.

yeah, you should definately get it checked out mechanically, that price seems very fishy

definitely be careful, get a carfax, test drive it hard, and have it looked over by a mechanic, my gut tells me that something is wrong that you cannot see in the pictures. if not its not a bad deal

im buyn 98 5.9 slt for 1450 and i was wondering how do you check if 4x4 works?

pull the lever that is on the floor. It should have 4wheelpt, 4wheelft, N, the 4lo. (plus the 2wheel at the top of course) 4wheelpt is full lock of the TC and should only be used if very slippery conditions. 4wheelFT is for us in the winter when you need just an extra umpf of traction can be used on dry pavement but not recommended, then 4lo is for extremem low gear traction.
If you want to test for sure just lift the D and put it on jack stands. Put it into each and let all the tires roll. Easy enough.

just wanted to add that not all transfer cases were full time, some only have 2wd (road use), 4hi (slippery conditions, only under 50 mph), N (neutral for being towed), and 4lo (slippery conditions, more torque, only under 10 mph)
